Thread: Notice on 2012 Chinese New Year Holiday

    Exclamation Notice on 2012 Chinese New Year Holiday

    ​During 21-27 Jan, sellers, shipping companies, as well as AliExpress staff members will be on holiday to celebrate the traditional Chinese New Year. We would like to notify you of the possible delay on the commerce and shipping cycle:

    1. During 17-28 Jan, processing time will be not be accounted.
    Because all sellers are on holiday, the processing time for all orders placed during 17-28 Jan w​ill be automatically prolonged.
    2. The logistics company’s work status during this time is as the following:
    Time
    UPS
    EMS
    DHL
    18-20 Jan
    Normal operations
    No Shipping
    No Shipping
    21-27 Jan
    On vacation
    On vacation
    On vacation
    After 27 Jan
    Normal operations

    3. Working status of AliExpress Dispute Team, AliExpress Customer Service Team and Seller Customer Service:
    1) Dispute Handling Time: Handling time for all dispute cases that are due during the holiday will be prolonged by 7 days.

    2) Replying Time from AliExpress Customer Service Team: We will be open during the holiday with reduced staff; if you have an inquiry, you can still email us. However, due to understaffing, our response time to emails may be delayed. We will try our best to reply to inquiries as quickly as possible.

    3) Seller Services: Some sellers will be open during the holiday with reduced staff; you can still leave messages to them, but they may not respond as quickly to your inquiries. However, we kindly remind you that during 22-28 Jan, we are running a Chinese New Year Sale. All sellers that participate this promotion will be working normal hours.

    We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your understanding and support. We wish you a Happy Chinese New Year!

    I ordered it the 16th but it was about Jan 17th at 2pm in China... How will that affect me? I also put expedited shipping because I'm on a time crunch!

    I do not have an order number because I used my paypal account to pay. The seller was ZB S from Ruikang Hair Factory. I see that DHL isnt working in China. Also, the tracking number they sent says try again. Please help. ALSO, I contacted DHL and they said that the New Year shouldnt affect my order because I received a tracking number but here you are saying they wont be working. I'm confused and worried.

    Exclamation Worry worry worry

    I have ordered and paid for the item but then now I no longer see the seller's selling page anymore. Besides, I have received the notification email that inform me my order has been processed and later "Order xxxxxx8693 has been shipped on 15 Jan 2012 20:32. You can track your order with this tracking number: xxxxxxxxxxxxx at UPS".

    Usually the order tracking number provided will be updated and show up detail information of its current status within 2-3 working days. However, until today is early morning 19th Jan 2012, I haven't yet seen the UPS tracking detail show up with the provided number. Is it weird and having some trouble now?

    I do really need the item to arrive to Singapore before 21st Jan and has enquire the seller's live chat team many times before purchase to get their answer that shipment will not take so long with UPS expedited Saver( 1-5 days) and usually will reach my place within the strict time period. Things get a bit tricky now and feeling worry since UPS info does not show up and I seem to can not contact the FIVE personnel staff of the store(not sure if they are on vacation NOW already?!!!). Is there anyway I can find a solution instead of keeping waiting and waiting worrying ?

    Hello,
    Im very confused .. I ordered on the 16th Jan and the seller shipped it on the 17th...This is the status of my item: Shipment information received Wednesday, January 18, 2012
    But its not changing since today morning
    im a lil bit worried because i need the hair this week I also put expedited shipping.

    It seems that aliexpress staff are now on vacation and this thread might not attract any attention since it is holiday season in china. I am also looking to get some help from them but no luck..>_<
